Accessibility

This site is for everyone

Accessibility is part of NeuroViva’s mission, not a compliance checkbox — much of our research is about making technology usable for older adults and for people of any age living with neurological or neurodevelopmental conditions. We aim for WCAG 2.2 AA on this site.

What we do today:

  • Full keyboard navigation, with a skip-to-content link and visible focus states.
  • Plain-language content with a consistent heading structure.
  • Text is never placed over photographs, and colour contrast meets AA in both light and dark themes.
  • Animations reduce to simple fades when your system asks for reduced motion.
  • Body text is set at a generous size, and nothing important is conveyed by colour alone.

What we’re still working on:

  • French-language content for the whole site.
  • A published contact route for accessibility feedback.

If something on this site doesn’t work for you, that is a problem we want to know about and fix.
